Purchasing an Activity or Service from Rock’n Jump Adventure implies full knowledge and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1 – Definition of the Service
Rock’n Jump Adventure acts as a transparent intermediary between the Guide/Instructor and the Client. It promotes and resells Activities, and collects payments on behalf of the Guide/Instructor.
The Guide/Instructor provides supervision, instruction, guidance, or training for the Activities, within the scope of their professional qualifications.
These Terms only cover the sale of activities and services by SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure, excluding any transportation, accommodation, or catering services.
2 – Activity Sale – Booking – Gift Vouchers
To book an Activity or Service, or to purchase a Gift Voucher, the Client must register online on one of SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure’s websites or a partner site, and pay a 100% deposit to validate the booking or purchase.
Clients may also register in person at the welcome desk located at Place Saint Hubert – 39200 Saint Claude, during public opening hours.
For corporate Clients, some Activities or Services may be confirmed by quote and paid via purchase order.
Specific information related to the Activity may be requested during booking.
On-site sales: These Terms are displayed and freely accessible at the usual premises of SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure.
Remote sales: Before confirming an order online, SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure outlines the steps to complete the contract and identify potential input errors:
-
The Client reviews the order details and total cost;
-
The Client confirms the order, accepts these Terms, and makes payment;
-
SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure acknowledges receipt and confirms the contract via durable medium.
3 – Right of Withdrawal
The Client is informed that, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, registrations for Activities are final and non-refundable. No right of withdrawal applies.
4 – Pricing – Additional Fees – Payment – Complaints
The price includes the Instructor’s fee and the operating costs of SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure. It covers only the service of guiding the Activity and includes all taxes (VAT included).
Unless otherwise stated, the price is per participant. It may also be a total price to be shared among participants.
Any additional expenses (transport, cable cars, meals, drinks, etc.), including those of the Instructor, are to be paid directly by the Client.
Payment: Full payment must be made in advance, either in cash (in person only), by bank transfer, or by credit card (online via Stripe or at the welcome desk via Monetico).
Legal entities may pay via purchase order using the Chorus Pro platform.
If payment is not made within 10 days of the invoice date, a 10% late fee may be applied, in addition to the legal fixed recovery fee of €40. For any disputes, the commercial court of Annecy shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Complaints must be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt within one month of the issue.
5 – Modification or Cancellation of the Activity
Mountain activities are subject to weather, terrain, participant experience and fitness, and group dynamics.
To ensure safety, SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure may modify or cancel an Activity at any time before or during its execution.
CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT:
Bookings for half-day or full-day activities, as well as for courses, trips, seminars, or events, are final and non-refundable.
CANCELLATION BY THE ORGANIZER:
Activities may be canceled if the number of participants is insufficient or conditions compromise safety—up to 2 weeks before trips or courses, and up until the start of the Activity for half-day/full-day, seminars, or events. Any pre-paid amounts will be fully refunded.
PROGRAM CHANGES:
Activity locations shown on promotional materials are indicative. Based on participants’ level, weather, or for safety and organizational reasons, we reserve the right to modify the program. No refund or compensation shall be granted.
LEAVING BEFORE COMPLETION:
If the Client chooses to stop participating during an Activity, course, trip, or event, no refund will be issued.
LATENESS:
Clients must respect the scheduled meeting time. Delays may result in cancellation or modification of the Activity, with no refund.
6 – Cancellation Insurance
Clients may purchase cancellation insurance when booking. If not, they have 5 days to opt in by contacting Rock’n Jump Adventure for the subscription form.
Rock’n Jump Adventure offers Meetch insurance services. Coverage details are available on Meetch’s website. Rock’n Jump Adventure is not liable for any insurance coverage decisions by Meetch.
7 – Technical and Physical Requirements – Health
Clients must be fit to participate in the chosen Activities. When in doubt, consult a doctor.
Clients must disclose any health conditions, medical treatments, accidents, or fears (e.g., vertigo) that may affect their participation.
Access to some Activities may depend on meeting specific technical, physical, or experience requirements.
Clients who falsely claim to meet these prerequisites are fully responsible for any resulting consequences.
8 – Equipment
Group equipment: The price includes group and safety gear.
Personal equipment: Clients must have their own gear or rent it. They are fully responsible for damage, loss, or wear.
Rental equipment: Once rented, the Client assumes full responsibility.
Clients are responsible for their own equipment and any damage, including to parked vehicles.
In case of inadequate personal equipment, SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure may require rental.
The Instructor may provide technical and safety gear. Clients agree to wear and use it properly unless otherwise instructed.
In case of misuse, abnormal wear, breakage, or loss, the following charges apply:
-
Canyoning shoes and socks: €15
-
Via ferrata gloves: €15
-
Waterproof digital camera: €470
-
Wetsuit: €100
-
Harness: €50
-
Via ferrata lanyard: €90
-
Helmet: €35
-
Misc. hardware (e.g., carabiners): €10 each
9 – Responsibilities – Specific Environment
These Activities take place in a mountain environment with inherent risks (falling rocks, floods, avalanches, etc.). Supervision reduces but does not eliminate these risks.
The Instructor has an obligation of means, not of result. Participants remain actively responsible for their own safety and that of others, and must follow all safety guidelines and instructions.
10 – Insurance and Rescue
Instructors have professional liability insurance covering worldwide operations, including search, rescue, and repatriation.
This does not replace the Client’s personal liability insurance, which must cover accidents, third-party damage, and natural events.
Clients are strongly encouraged to carry personal insurance for the Activity, covering civil liability, rescue, and repatriation.
Information is available about daily or annual coverage options. Clients must verify that appropriate coverage is included.
Note:
Your home insurance likely excludes high-risk sports (e.g., climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, scuba, motor sports, etc.).
Why take out sports insurance?
It covers:
-
Civil liability – if you injure someone;
-
Accidents – if you hurt yourself (injury, medical costs, rescue, equipment damage, etc.).
If your current insurer doesn’t cover the Activity, consider FFCAM, FFME, FFVL, or Vieux Campeur policies.
11 – Image Rights
Unless stated otherwise by the Client before the Activity, Rock’n Jump Adventure and the Instructor are authorized to use photos and videos taken during the Activity for promotional purposes.
The legal guardian of a minor Client grants the same image rights for the minor participant.
12 – Reviews
SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure may invite the Client to leave a review on various platforms (TripAdvisor, Facebook, Google, etc.).
13 – Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law
In case of a dispute, the Client, SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure, and the Instructor will attempt an amicable resolution. Otherwise, free mediation is available:
Professional Mediation Society (SMP)

Clients may access, modify, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting SARL Rock’n Jump Adventure.
